Prom to HOCO Dress
Our daughter just loved her Madison James junior prom dress and asked me to cut it off for homecoming.
Steps Taken:
1. Removed the lace from skirt and left lace attached to waistband
2. Removed skirt from the waistband
3. Cut new skirt from bottom of mermaid flare on skirt
4. Sewed skirt to waistband
5. Hemmed
6. Sewed lace down to new skirt around hip area

After visiting SR Harris Fabrics our daughter decided she wanted her 8th grade party formal dress created from this stunning gold shimmer brocade and burgandy irridescent taffeta.

Upcycled Mittens
To raise money for her upcoming choir trip
our daughter created mittens from old wool sweaters,
set up and Etsy store and began selling the mittens.
She priced them $24-$36/pair.
